Ron Richard of Fort Smith qualified Friday August 5 at Hardscrabble Country Club for the USGA National Mid-Amateur Championship by shooting 4 under 66 on his home course.  Richard was the only qualifying spot to advance to the championship to be held in Chattanooga, TN at the Honors Course September 10-15.

Bev Hargraves, USGA Mid-Am Committee Chairman for Arkansas, presents Ron Richard of Fort Smith the USGA medal for winning the 2005 USGA Mid-Am Qualifier.  Hargraves along with Jeremy Branch of Fort Smith were runners-up.
