As everyone knows making a 2 on a par five (albatross) is almost as good as a hole-in-one.
  I received this email from David Shirey of Camden.

"Just thought I would let you know that the luckiest guy in Camden, John
Carter (hence "the Carter kick" for a errant shot that takes an unusually
fortuitous bounce), made a 2 on the par 5 fourth hole at the Camden CC on
Sunday, September 3.  He hit a driver, 5 wood - two good shots.  Witnesses
were George Branch and myself."  David Shirey
