ASGA JUNIOR STROKE QUALIFICATIONS

Starting in 2001 and future years to be able to play in the ASGA Junior Stroke Play Championship each player must be an ASGA Junior Member and must have an established USGA handicap index, with a minimum of five current scores posted.  The  handicap requirements for age divisions and how many players the ASGA will accept for the ASGA Junior Stroke Play Championship are as follows:

Boy's Division

Age 12 -  Accept first 9 players with index of 18.0 or less
Age 13 -  Accept first 9 players with index of 18.0 or less
Age 14 -  Accept first 15 players with index of 12.0 or less
Age 15 -  Accept first 21 players with index of 12.0 or less
Age 16 -  Accept first 21 players with index of 9.0 or less
Age 17 -  Accept first 24 players with index of 9.0 or less

Girls Division

                                  Accept first 21 girls in all age categories with a maximum handicap index of              24.0 or less (minimum of three girls to comprise an age category).
