2015 Southern Junior Cup - August 3-5 - Host State: Oklahoma - Jimmie Austin Golf Club
A select group of aspiring young players will represent the State of Arkansas in the fourth annual Southern Junior Cup Matches. August 3-5, 2015, the ASGA Junior Cup team will travel to Oklahoma to represent Arkansas in this wonderful team competition.   The four states that will compete are Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Oklahoma. Team Oklahoma has won this competition in each year that it has been played.  The Junior Cup Match team will be comprised of six male and six female junior players.  The format will be a Ryder Cup format with Four ball, Foursome and Individual Match play.  The Four ball and Foursome matches will consist of a 2 person team comprised of 1 male and 1 female.  The Individual Match play will be boys competiting against boys and girls against girls.  Each match will be awarded one point for each win.  The format is match play and will consist of three rounds.  The teams will have a practice round on the Friday before competition.  The first round of competition will be "Four Ball" and the second round will be "Foursome" (alternate shot).  The final day will be "Single" match play.
