2018 Arkansas Junior Amateur Championship
We would first like to thank the competitors as well as all in attendance for joining us at the 2018 Arkansas Junior Amateur Championship. We are grateful to have been able to conduct the event at Fianna Hills Country Club in Fort Smith, and to Jason Branch, PGA Professional of Fianna Hills CC, for all of his support of the ASGA, Junior Golf, and having us at his facility for this year’s Championship.
Congratulations to our 2018 Arkansas Junior Amateur Champions, Andrew Payne of Little Rock who shot 75-79 to win the Boys 12-13 Year Old Division. Mackenzie Lee of North Little Rock won the Girls Championship in a one hole playoff over Elizabeth Moon of Forrest City. And finally, Connor Gaunt, who was the only player in the field to have under par rounds both days with rounds of 69-67, to win the Boys Championship.
We hope that everybody enjoyed their time this past week and was able to travel home safely. Thank you again for helping us make such a special event possible.
