Senior Golf Association of Arkansas

Are you a senior golfer and want to play a fun, relaxed form of competitive golf? Join the Seniors' Golf Association of Arkansas (SGAA).

The SGAA is a non-profit association of senior golfers from across the State of Arkansas. The Association was established in 1967 by Jim Porter, Junie Dowell and Loyd Ramer to provide senior Arkansas golfers a venue to continue to play golf in a competitive environment while also providing the opportunity for its members to meet and enjoy the fellowship of the events.

In 2016 the SGAA and the ASGA formed a partnership for the ASGA to assume administrative duties by 2017, which coincided with the retirement of SGAA Executive Secretary Alan Holland. Holland was also elected to the ASGA Board of Directors and will help guide the current ASGA staff while serving as a consultant as needed. This partnership is viewed by both Boards of Directors as providing expanded capabilities and efficiency to both organizations and in general to the senior golf community across Arkansas.
