Payne fired a 2-under-par 70, and Brooks Simmons of Dallas, Texas, Banks Cozby of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Jackson Byrd of St. Simmons Island, Georgia, nabbed the other qualifying spots.

The duo from Hot Springs carded rounds of 62 and 60 at Russellville Country Club to finish the 36-hole event at 22-under par.
