The Arkansas State Golf Association and the First Tee of Central Arkansas are pleased to
announce the award winners of the newly established Arnold Palmer Scholarship. The recipients
and their colleges of choice are:
Each of the champions erased two-shot deficits during the final round at ASGA Founding Member Club Texarkana Country Club.
Payne fired a 2-under-par 70, and Brooks Simmons of Dallas, Texas, Banks Cozby of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Jackson Byrd of St. Simmons Island, Georgia, nabbed the other qualifying spots.
Earlier this season, Mrs. Teresa, a staple of Texarkana Country Club, celebrated 30 years at the club!
