The ASGA is thrilled to welcome Emily Laskin as, the new Director of Women’s Golf!
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (December 1, 2025) - The Arkansas State Golf Association is excited to announce the hiring of Emily Laskin as its new Director of Women’s Golf. Laskin brings a strong background in competitive golf, sports management, and community engagement, offering a fresh, energetic perspective on one of the association’s most important areas of growth.
Born and raised in Elk Grove, California, Laskin began playing golf at age five and quickly developed a love for the sport. An all-around athlete in her youth, she ultimately focused on golf and went on to play collegiately at the University of San Francisco, earning her bachelor’s degree in International Business in 2018.
She recently completed her MBA with a concentration in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University, further strengthening her foundation in leadership and program development.
Laskin turned professional in 2019 and competed through 2022. A highlight in her playing career was competing on the Sunshine Ladies Tour in South Africa, an experience that broadened her perspective and fueled her passion for growing the game.
Outside of golf, Laskin is an overall sports fan, following women’s soccer, NCAA and NFL football, and basketball at every level. Particularly, she loves cheering for her hometown Sacramento Kings. She also enjoys the outdoors, discovering new coffee shops, engaging in music and art, and staying active.
Laskin shared her enthusiasm for joining the ASGA.
“I am excited for the opportunity to work alongside devoted women of Arkansas State golf and work to expand our reach and bring more women to the wonderful game we all love,” Laskin said. “I look forward to meeting new people and bringing a new and different perspective to the ASGA and the opportunities we provide across the state for all levels.”
In her new role, Laskin will oversee all ASGA women’s golf initiatives, including championships, player development, outreach programming, and statewide engagement supporting golfers of all ages and skill levels. She will start her new role as the ASGA Director of Women's Golf in January 2026.
