We are excited to announce our newest staff addition, Tournament Director John Jardine!
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (December 17, 2025) - The ASGA is pleased to announce the hiring of John Jardine as its new Tournament Director. Jardine joins the ASGA staff following two summers as an intern with the association, where he gained hands-on experience in tournament operations, player services, and event management.
Originally from Oklahoma, Jardine discovered his passion for golf during his freshman year of college and further developed that interest through his involvement with the ASGA. He recently earned a degree in Sports Administration with a concentration in Sports Commerce and a minor in Business from Louisiana State University.
During his internships, Jardine played an active role in supporting ASGA championships and events across the state, contributing to the delivery of high-quality competitive experiences for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Those experiences solidified his desire to pursue a long-term career in the golf industry and ultimately return to the ASGA in a full-time capacity.
“We are excited to welcome John back to the ASGA in this new role,” said Carson Roberts, Executive Director of the ASGA. “He already understands our mission, our membership, and the level of excellence we strive for in our championships. His familiarity with our tournaments and his enthusiasm for the game will serve our players and member clubs very well.”
As Tournament Director, Jardine will oversee/assist in the planning and execution of ASGA championships and designated events, working closely with host clubs, volunteers, and players to ensure consistent, professional tournament operations statewide.
“I am excited to return to the ASGA and continue building new relationships while strengthening those I’ve developed over the past two summers,” Jardine said. “I look forward to getting to work, delivering the best events possible, and contributing to the growth of the game of golf throughout the state of Arkansas.”
Outside of golf, Jardine enjoys following a variety of sports, including the LSU Tigers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and St. Louis Cardinals. He also enjoys fishing, cooking, and staying active.
The ASGA is excited to welcome John back to Arkansas. This most recent hire will mark the largest the ASGA staff has ever been, highlighting our commitment to growing the game in Arkansas. Be sure to welcome John to the staff!
