The Arkansas State Golf Association (ASGA) has formed a partnership with Fairway & Greene an affiliate of Summit Golf Brands, to become the Official Apparel for the Arkansas State Golf Association.
Beginning October, 2020, Fairway & Greene will partner with the ASGA to be the Official Apparel for all ASGA for all events, including all team events, the Southern Junior Cup, Governors Cup, and Women’s Fore-States. In addition, Fairway and Greene will be the Official Uniform for both the Amateur and PGA Professional Team in the Randy Beaver Cup Matches.
“We are extremely excited to be able to have the opportunity to partner with a company like Fairway & Greene, where our staff, volunteers, course raters will all be outfitted in Fairway & Greene apparel” said Bryant Fortin, ASGA Director of Women’s Golf. “They are the standard of clothing for the golf industry and it is clear that they take extreme pride in what they do, it has been wonderful working with their team leading up to the start of our partnership.”
During its 25-year history, Fairway & Greene has outfitted numerous PGA Tour winners, Ryder Cup teams, Presidents Cup teams and millions of amateur golfers around the world. This rich history allows Fairway & Greene to draw inspiration from the game’s most storied players and moments and remain the most authentic brand in golf. Sold exclusively through leading golf clubs and resorts, Fairway & Greene can now be found at more than 4,000 accounts in over 25 countries around the world.
In 2015, Fairway & Greene proudly became the first high-end golf apparel company to manufacture product in the USA. This “Made in the USA” initiative has grown over the last few years to the point where almost all Fairway & Greene polos were manufactured in several locations around the USA. During the Summer of 2020, Fairway & Greene identified a world-class manufacturing facility in Little Rock, Arkansas and was able to consolidate all its Fairway & Greene polo production there.
“Our ‘Made in the USA’ initiative with Fairway & Greene is extremely important to our entire Company,” said Chad Delp the President & CEO of Summit Golf Brands (parent company of Fairway & Greene). “Fairway & Greene is one of our largest brands and polos is its largest product category. Being able to manufacture in the USA is not only a differentiating factor for the brand, it is an important concept to our Company and its stakeholders. The facility we are now working with in Little Rock is not only the best apparel manufacturer we have seen in the US, it is one of the best we have seen in the world. The equipment, people and quality are outstanding and unequalled. We are currently producing about 20,000 units a month in Little Rock and expect that number to grow by the end of the year. We are honored to be partnering with the ASGA in this way and are proud that our ‘Made in the USA’ initiative is now actually ‘Made in Arkansas’.”
