After 36 holes at the Honors Course, Kurt Reither has made it past stroke play at the U.S. Senior Amateur Championship. Through the first two rounds, Reither shot 5-over-par and tied at No. 12.

In his first round of match play, he is going against Stephen Creed of England. Match play starts with a round of 64, halving the field until a champion is crowned.

Reither qualified for the championship at Pleasant Valley Country Club through ASGA qualifying. In a field of 12 golfers, he shot a 5-under par 67 to advance.

Unfortunately, Reither's tournament ended in the round of 64 losing to Stephen Creed of England, 5 and 3.

Reither still played incredible golf and accomplished much to be in the field at the 69th U.S. Senior Amateur Championship. We are proud of how he represented Arkansas and can't wait to keep following his game!
