2025 Arkansas State Amatuer Men Requirements
The Arkansas State Golf Association (ASGA) is excited to announce the 2025 Arkansas State Amateur Championship, set to take place from June 12th to 14th at the prestigious Country Club of Little Rock.
This year's championship introduces a new qualification-based entry process to ensure a competitive field of the state's top amateur golfers.
Exemption Categories:
Players meeting the following criteria are exempt from qualifying:
- Past Amateur Champions under the age of 60
- Top 10 in the Simmons Bank Player of the Year points list through the HSCC Classic
- Top 2 in the Simmons Bank Mid-Amateur Player of the Year points list through the HSCC Classic
- Top 2 in the Simmons Bank Senior Player of the Year points list through the HSCC Classic
- Top 35 finishers from the 2024 State Amateur
- Top 2 from the 2024 Divisional Championship Mid-Am Division
- Top 5 from the 2024 Divisional Championship Senior Division
- Top 3 from the 2024 Junior Amateur
- Low Arkansan in the 2024 Maumelle Classic
- Three Host Club Exemptions
Exemption Deadline to Enter - May 28th 4pm Central
Qualfying Tournaments:
Golfers who do not meet the exemption criteria can earn a spot in the championship through one of two 18-hole qualifiers:
- June 2nd: Lost Springs Golf and Athletic Club, Rogers, AR
- June 9th: Burns Park Golf Course (Championship), North Little Rock, AR
This new qualification process aims to elevate the level of competition and uphold the tradition and prestige of the State Amateur Championship. We look forward to showcasing the finest amateur talent in Arkansas!

Arkansas Women’s State Amateur Championship – Eligibility Requirements
The Arkansas Women’s State Amateur Championship is open to all female golfers who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Field is limited 30 participants
- Must be a resident of the state of Arkansas and have an active GHIN Handicap through an ASGA Member or E-Club.
- Student-athletes who are currently enrolled at an in-state university are also eligible to compete, regardless of permanent residency.
The players who fall in the categories below are entitled a spot in the field up to the registration deadline
- 2024 Simmons Bank POY (Am, Mid, Senior)
- 2024 Amateur Champion
- 2024 Mid Amateur Champion
- 2024 Senior Amateur Champion
- 2024 Top 3 Jr Girls Amateur
- 2024 Match Play Champion
Exemption Deadline to Enter - May 28th 4pm Central
All participants must adhere to the Arkansas State Golf Association’s competition policies and entry requirements.
Men's Arkansas State Amateur Champion Exemptions
The 2025 Men's Arkansas State Amateur Champion will earn exemptions into the 125th U.S. Amateur Championship at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, California, and the 119th Southern Amateur Championship at the Blessings Golf Club in Johnson, Arkansas.
