Eligibility: All players must be individual members of ASGA and full-time residents of the state of Arkansas. Non-residents are not eligible, with the following exception: a person may live across the state line, such as Texarkana, Texas, but must be a member of the Texarkana Country Club, out of state colleigate player playing for an in state school, an individual ASGA member. The minimum age is 13 unless approved by the ASGA Women’s Committee.
Format: Participants will play an 18-hole qualifying round on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. The qualifying round will be two 9-hole rounds and in the event of inclement weather, the qualifying score could be a 9-hole score. If field size will be determined by number of entries. To be eligible to compete for an Arkansas Women’s Match Play Title the player must be in that respective ‘Championship” Flight. If a total rainout for qualifying, seeding will be determined by handicap. Each division will be a 8 or 16 person flight determined by size of division.
Note: 16 Woman Bracket - Two 18 holes maybe played in one day on Semi Final Round
Entry Fee: The entry fee of $240 per player includes cart fees for all tournament rounds, range balls each day, lunch after the qualifying round and tee gifts. Following the first round of matches there will be a consolation bracket for all divisions where field size allows.
NOTE: Players are guaranteed three rounds (qualify, two tournament rds). Consolations rounds maybe played in 9 hole pool played equal 2 (9 hole rounds) /18 holes to determine winner depending on number of participants.
Tees: Championship White Tees/Simmons Banks 5917 yards, Mid Am and the Seniors will play from Simmons Bank Gold Tees 5537 yards. Super Senior and Legends will play from Red Tees /Simmons Bank 4624 yards. points will be awarded for a persons appropriate age division.
Entry Deadline: Tuesday, June 16th @ 11:00 a.m. Players may submit entry forms via mail or online at www.asga.org with a credit card.
Schedule/Starting Times:
Tuesday, June 24th – Qualify Round - Shotgun start 9:00AM. Lunch will be provided after play. All respective match play brackets will be determined based on the qualifying rounds. Lunch will be provided after the conclusion of play. Contestants will be emailed tee times/pairings for Wednesday’s matches.
Wednesday, June 25th – Tee times will begin at 8:30AM for the first round of matches.
Thursday, June 26th – Tee times will begin at 8:30AM for the matches. Possible Second Round Tee Times 1:00PM
Friday, June 27th– Tee times will start at 8:00 AM for the matches.
Award ceremony will take place after Final rounds.
Gift Certificates/Awards: The winner and runner-up in all divisions will receive individual trophies. HSCC Pro Shop Certificates will be awarded based on field size in all flights/brackets. Prize breakdown will be shared with the players.
