Eligibility: Open to all Individual AGSA Junior Program Members. The minimum age is 7 and the maximum is 18, or until the player has entered college, younger participants must be approved by the ASGA. Non-Residents are not eligible, unless they live in a boarder town and posses a membership at an ASGA Member Club. Divisions: Girls 7-11, Girls 12-13, Girls 14-18, Boys 7-11, Boys 12-13, and Boys 14-18
Format: The Format is either 18 or 36 holes of stroke play. Tee times will be used for both rounds beginning at 7:30A.M. each day (Subject to change). Those playing 18 holes over the two days will just play the Honors Course (Par 3 Course). Those playing 36 holes over the two days will play the Honor’s Course (Par 3 Course) and the second 9 holes each day will be on the Chairmen’s Course (Traditional Course).
Tee Markers: Boys and Girls ages 7-11 will play 9 holes each day on the Honor’s Course (par-3 short course). Girls ages 12-13 will play 9 holes on the par-3 Honor’s Course and 9 holes on the Chairman’s Course (2,300 yards / Gold Tees) each day. Boys ages 12-13 and Girls ages 14-18 will play 9 holes on the par-3 Honor’s Course and 9 holes on the Chairman’s Course (2,800 yards / Green Tees) each day. Boys ages 14-18 will play 9 holes on the Honor’s Course and 9 holes on the Chairman’s Course (3,300 yards / Blue Tees) each day. In the event of inclement weather, the ASGA reserves the right to reduce the number of holes.
Entry Fee: The entry fee is $80 for Boys and Girls ages 7-11, that will play 9 holes each day; and $120 for Boys and Girls Ages 12-18, that will play 18 holes each day. Entry Fee includes Greens Fee, Tee Gift, Wright’s Barbeque Lunch no Saturday, Range Balls, Mother’s Day Gift, and more!
Simmons Bank Skills Challenge: There will also be a skills challenge that participants may compete in for additional prizes! More information will be included in the Player Email with Pairings.
Practice Rounds: A practice round is available for registered competitors leading up to the championship. You may call (501)5624653 to schedule a practice round for the price of TBD.
CADDIES: Will ONLY be allowed for participants competing in 7-11 divisions. Participants competing in divisions 12-18, parents may ONLY watch, but are not permitted to caddie, coach, give advice or harass players during the stipulated round. Parents may provide nourishment and encouragement and should keep a minimum distance at other times.
TROPHIES: Will be awarded for first and second in each age division: Boys and Girls 7-11, 12-13, & 14-18. Player of the Year points will be awarded to the top 10 in the Girls 14-18 Division and Boys 14-18 Division.
Spectator Carts: Are limited and will be rented out on a first come, first serve basis.
Mother’s Day Celebration: All mothers and mother figures are encouraged to attend this year’s event! Make sure to stop by the clubhouse on Sunday and receive your Mother’s Day Gift from your favorite Junior Golfer after their round!
Refund Policy: Participants who withdraw before the registration deadline will receive a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after the registration deadline.
